Spanish that texts you first.
Charla lives in Telegram. Through the day it writes to you in Spanish, sends voice notes, points you at the next thing to listen to or watch, and corrects you when you write back.
Five short messages a day, voice both ways, in the app you already have open.
Un día con Charla
Five short messages, fitted to when you wake and sleep. Each stands on its own; the day still reads as one thread.
Reply whenever you like. Say “watched twenty minutes” or “did my Duolingo” and it logs the time; log it early and that reminder stays quiet.
- morningBuenos días. Hoy es lunes.Good morning. Today is Monday.Para hoy: Coffee Break Spanish, lección 1.03. Son doce minutos. For today: Coffee Break Spanish, lesson 1.03. It's twelve minutes.coffeebreaklanguages.com/…/1-030:11
A greeting and one thing to listen to. Lessons come in order. Podcasts you already follow show up as stretch listening every other day, with a note that understanding a little is the point.
- midday¿Tienes hambre? Are you hungry?si, yo tengo hambre mucho¡Yo también!Me too!✗ yo tengo hambre mucho → ✓ tengo mucha hambre“mucha” goes before and agrees with “hambre”.
One question, one correction at most. Corrections sit under the reply, never instead of it. Each one is filed by type, so recurring habits show up in the weekly summary instead of being repeated at you.
- input¿Tienes veinte minutos?Do you have twenty minutes?Este video es de tu nivel. This video is at your level.dreamingspanish.com/…superbeginner¿Cuántos minutos viste? How many minutes did you watch?
A specific video, then a follow-up. Minutes you report add to your Dreaming Spanish hours. At 50, 150 and 600 hours the level moves up on its own and the messages get a little harder.
- duolingoUna lección de Duolingo antes de cenar. One Duolingo lesson before dinner.
Only if you haven’t already. Say “done” and the reminder is skipped for the day.
- eveningBuenas noches. ¿Café mañana también?Good night. Coffee tomorrow too?Dos horas y diez minutos. Vas bien. Two hours and ten minutes. You're doing well.0:07
Wind-down and a number. Total input hours, and how far to the next milestone. On Sundays this is the weekly summary: minutes by source, your top correction pattern with one example, words kept.
How it works
Superbeginner mode
Under fifty hours, every Spanish line has its English under it, questions want one word or a yes, and answering in English is fine. Around fifty hours the glosses fold away and it starts expecting sentences.
Voice both ways
Replies arrive as text and as a voice note that speaks only the Spanish. Send a voice note back and it listens, answers, and corrects what you said.
What it points you to
